Jeremiah 17:9 “The heart is deceitful above all things
And it is extremely sick;
Who can understand it fully and know its secret motives?
What are our hearts desires? The verse above puzzled me enormously even after I had prayed with a friend about a moment of jealousy in my youth when I had inadvertently cursed another out of my own pain, what I thought was just a small look of disdain turned out to be, from my heart, a very powerful curse … a 2 second lapse in self control over my emotions had hurt the two people that had betrayed me, so short a space of natural time yet it took us half an hour to undo that supposed ‘small’ bit of evil. The Father has gifted my family line in the authority of words which also is inclusive to what we say in our hearts (They consult only to throw him down from his high position [to dishonor him]; They delight in lies. They bless with [the words of] their mouths, But inwardly they curse. Psalm 62:4) and I misused that authority in my youthful passions and insecurity. Do not condemn me for it as some would for all have fallen short of the glory that the Father intended for us to move in and the position of being a stone thrower is not one that the Father will tolerate – even less so than the one who repents as I did, but learn from it. For when we prayed for that curse to be under the blood of the Lamb, shattered smashed and destroyed by the Word of God as a hammer (Is not My word like fire [that consumes all that cannot endure the test]?” says the Lord, “and like a hammer that breaks the [most stubborn] rock [in pieces]? Jeremiah 23:29) the residue taken from the earth by the breathe of the Holy Spirit the people that had been affected by it where also cleaned up of every curse that had ever come against them and their relationship from others and we even protected it for the future, they are much better off now than they ever could have been without having met me for all the work of the enemy against them has gone completely. Jesus said it is finished, so through me, the work of the enemy is so for them. (for where your treasure is, there your heart [your wishes, your desires; that on which your life centers] will be also Mathew 6:21). The Father has been found by those who did not search for Him also, and some small parts of truth can be found in other religions who had no opportunity to know the fullness of truth, the following link is a little bit New Age but it is the best explanation I have seen or heard of in regards to our hearts desires and you can find it here cover your mind with the blood of the Lamb when you watch anything like this and ask what is not of heavens will for you would not make a foot hold for some of what they share does not line up with scripture as powerfully as this does. So be careful of not having love as your main hearts desire – love is desiring the very best for all people, even those we do not agree with or like, even our enemies we can bless to knowing the love that God has for them even if we have no personal love to give, for that is the highest blessing we can give to anyone – to know Him, Hallowed be thy Name, Your kingdom come in the lives of those around us. Blessings in Christ Jesus to that which is in your hearts desires for those around that match up with the will of heaven for them.
